After experiencing some bad situations in the past, I decided to give Defensive Driving a try. I first took my knowledge test here, which was conducted in a very welcoming atmosphere. The instructor (I don’t remember his name) made sure we all felt at ease. As for the driving lessons, I had the blessing to get Glenda Franklin as my instructor, and she gave me the confidence I needed to finally hit the road and obtain my driver's license. I’m currently in the middle of my drivers ed course, and it’s going great! The drives are super easy to schedule, and the lessons are awesome. My instructor is Clay, and he is great and makes what would probably otherwise be a very boring zoom lesson very engaging and sometimes a little fun too.
My youngest daughter just got her license today! She took the course at DDS, starting about a year ago, shortly after she turned 15. I have two older children who took drivers ed at a different school and I definitely feel like the youngest, was the most confident and ready for her actual driving test. My second oldest took his course online during Covid so I got to hear a lot of the instruction and I was really unimpressed with the previous school’s instructors. Initially, I was very anxious about learning to drive, but Defensive Driving couldn't have been any better. I will definitely recommend it to anyone learning to drive. I had Verla as my online instructor. She was kind and funny and I loved the stories she told about her experiences driving. The zoom meetings were very helpful for driving knowledge. Clay was my online driving instructor and is very nice he is one of the most chill guys there is. Jacob the driving instructor is a very chill guy and makes it feel comfortable.
