The in-person driving instructor, Jacob, made the entire experience positive and enjoyable for our daughter and son. He was clear, patient, and encouraging along the way. He helped build their confidence and gave them helpful feedback. As parents, we were a bit anxious going into this new season of driving with our kids, but the staff at Defensive Driving Bonney Lake made it a smooth and successful transition. I highly recommend DDS. The instructor is very engaging with the kids, my son learned a great deal and enjoyed the classes. The driving instructors are great too. Customer service was always very responsive to my inquiries.
After experiencing some bad situations in the past, I decided to give Defensive Driving a try. I first took my knowledge test here, which was conducted in a very welcoming atmosphere. The instructor (I don’t remember his name) made sure we all felt at ease. As for the driving lessons, I had the blessing to get Glenda Franklin as my instructor, and she gave me the confidence I needed to finally hit the road and obtain my driver's license. I’m currently in the middle of my drivers ed course, and it’s going great! The drives are super easy to schedule, and the lessons are awesome. My instructor is Clay, and he is great and makes what would probably otherwise be a very boring zoom lesson very engaging and sometimes a little fun too.
My youngest daughter just got her license today! She took the course at DDS, starting about a year ago, shortly after she turned 15. I have two older children who took drivers ed at a different school and I definitely feel like the youngest, was the most confident and ready for her actual driving test. My second oldest took his course online during Covid so I got to hear a lot of the instruction and I was really unimpressed with the previous school’s instructors.
