I cannot recommend Isaac highly enough! I just passed my driving test yesterday, and I owe it all to his exceptional instruction at Defensive Driving School in Issaquah. My son is on the spectrum and we signed up for the Individual Driving Plan - and it was well worth it. Every person we worked with (instructors, schedulers, etc) were patient, caring, and made sure my son had consistency. His main instructor, Josh, was just amazing. He helped my eldest with staying calm and always spent time with me going over everything that occurred in the lesson. Just a fabulous, kind, patient person. Thank you Josh!
This is our second child to go through the defensive driving class. We are very happy with this program. The online class was not only very convient but the instructor made the class fun and very educational. The driving instructor (we chose Erin when we could) has a wonderful nature to work with nervous teens. We have a teenager with special needs, and the Defensive Driving School took great are of her. Her instructor, Erin, was patient, yet firm and was able to keep our teen focused, calm, encouraged and motivated. We could see progress and were very happy when she passed her knowledge and driving test with the school. I highly recommend this school, especially if your child has special needs.
I had a terrible experience at this driving school. Before my wife’s warm-up session, I briefly moved the car out of the parking spot to help adjust her mirror. A staff member came out yelling aggressively, treating me like a criminal. Even after I apologized and explained I didn’t know the rule, he kept shouting. This caused my wife a lot of stress and led to her failing the test. Very disappointed — the staff were rude and unprofessional. I don’t recommend taking a test here.
