I took the knowledge and the skills test with Defensive Driving School and it was a great experience! Taking my knowledge test was very smooth and easy. My examiner for the skills test, Jimmy Green, was wonderful too! I signed up for the 30-minute warm-up before the skills test (would definitely recommend!) and Jimmy was great about giving me gentle feedback before the test started. I had a great experience with Defensive Driving School in the U-District. I did both my knowledge and skill tests with them — they were punctual, professional, and offered a good price. I also did the warm-up session before the test with Jimmy, and I have to say — he was the best instructor I’ve had so far (and I hold both Brazilian and Irish driver’s licenses, so I had a bunch of instructors before). I had a fantastic experience with Defensive Driving School for both the knowledge and skills tests. In particular, Mr. Jim Green provided extremely helpful driving guidance. His warm-up session effectively addressed many of my driving errors and weaknesses, significantly improving my confidence on the road. I highly recommend this school and especially Mr. Green to anyone preparing for their driving exams!
I chose this location because of the reviews I saw for Jimmy Green, and after completing my testing with him I can completely understand why he is so highly rated! Jimmy is a wonderful examiner, his calm and positive demeanour puts you at ease in what could be a stressful situation. I would recommend everyone do their exam with him!
Jim Green is an absolutely phenomenal person to take your driving test with. The warm-up was great for calming nerves, but Jim's calm and friendly attitude are infectious. He is clear about all directions, and wants you to succeed. It felt like my nerves melted away, and I was just in a car with an old friend. Highly recommend taking your driving test here, with Jim Green!
