I made an urgent care appointment for my daughter who had a hamstring injury from dance. She reported associated knee pain that progressed with her hamstring injury. The nurse practitioner we saw was dismissive, lacked assessment skills, and provided limited, near absent, basic/elementary guidance for the issue discussed. When noting the knee pain a secondary time, she said only one issue can be addressed during her visit… mind you, we had taken a grand total of 2 minutes of her time prior to repeating the concern.
